How to get to us
Panama City has the most modern airport in the region and is a hub for travelers from North America and Europe to South America. COPA Airline (and their affiliates of Star Alliance) offer free Stop Over Options for up to 7 days to enjoy the discover Panama and the diving around Coiba.
Many direct flights go from major US airports, as well as Madrid, Amsterdam, Paris, Istanbul and soon Frankfurt to Panama City.
From Panama City to Santa Catalina:
- For groups of 4 or more divers we can organize pick up per road (6 hours), by air charter (50 minutes) or by a combination of road to Santiago / Puerto Mutis (4 hours) – boat transport to Santa Catalina (45 minutes).
- For people, who want to discover a bit of the beautiful country and its culture, it is a good and economic option to rent a car. Driving is pretty easy and save (at list in day light). There is only one major road – The Pan-American Highway – it is hard to get lost.
- Since 2023 w e can fly you by charter to Lago Bay Air strip 10 km from Santa Catalina has opened and it is possible to arrange for charter flights, what can cost between $100 and $300 per person depending on the plane and number of people. We are working to get a more regular and fixed schedule which will make it easier and more affordable.
- Public buses are connecting Panama City directly to Sona and from there are buses (or taxis) going to Santa Catalina.
- Sometimes you can hop on an irregular shuttle from Panama, Boquete, Bocas or El Valle
