SCUBA COIBA MULTI-DAY TRIP
We offer 3 different options for Multi-Day Trips:
- Hotel- and Dive packages based in Santa Catalina – visit the page
- Budget Package staying at a hostel in tiny fishing village Pixvae (private rooms, cold water bathrooms, powered by solar power, no a/c, but fans), 20 Minutes from the borders of Coiba National Park
- Platinum Package staying in the former Liquid Jungle Lab scientist’s rooms (a/c, en-suit hot-water bathrooms, WiFi), on private Simca Island less than 10 minutes from the border of Coiba National Park
Budget 3 day package with 2 nights at a hostel in Pixvae

Scuba Coiba’s signature trip for experienced divers only. You and your group will get to know Coiba National Park better than anyone, with access to dive sites too remote and/or to advanced to offer on day tours from Santa Catalina.
We leave day one from Santa Catalina, dive 3 days Coiba National Park, stay 2 nights at a hostel in a tiny fishing village – Pixvae and return the last day to Santa Catalina. We take care of accommodation and full board. All you have to do is dive.

What to expect:
- On the day before the first day (if possible), we meet at our dive center between 3:00 and 6:00 pm and get you set up with all equipment, doing paperwork and payments. If it is not possible to come by the day before please let us know and meet us the first day at 7:30 am
- We head out for three dives, every day.
- Cold lunch, seasonal fruit, snacks and water are all included in between dives
- Stay overnight at a hostel in Pixvae 20 minutes from the border of the park, 40 minutes closer to the dive sites than leaving from Santa Catalina
- Simple hostels in basic fishing villages far off the beaten path. Though the hostel is simple, it is safe and clean
- Dinner, breakfast and drinks are provided at a local restaurant for the overnight stays.
- On the last day, we return back to Santa Catalina around 3:00 – 4:00 pm.
Things to know:
- Scheduled Multi-Day trips are bookable for single divers up to a maximum of 6 experienced divers (a minim of 4 participants is required).
- Requests for particular dates are welcome.
- We can accomodate private groups. Ask for group discounts when booking 4+ people!

Scuba Coiba’s new signature trip for experienced divers only, who love their comfort and short boat rides. It is rhe closest you can stay divng Coiba (less than 10 minutes some sites) – and in style. You and your group will get to know Coiba National Park better than anyone, with access to dive sites too remote and/or to advanced to offer on day tours from Santa Catalina.
We leave day one from Santa Catalina, dive 3 days Coiba National Park, stay 2 nights at the remodelled Scientist’s quarters of the former Liquid Jungle Lab at private Simca Island and return the last day to Santa Catalina. We take care of accommodation and full board. All you have to do is dive.

- Dinner, breakfast and drinks are provided on the island, packed lunch, fruits and snacks are on the boat.
- On the last day, we return back to Santa Catalina around 3:00 – 4:00 pm.

SCUBA COIBA DAY TRIP
Discover the wild and beautiful underwater world in Coiba National Park, with an option to dive at two or three sites.
What to expect:
- Trip duration: Approximately 8 hours (8:00 am – 4:00pm)
- Before getting on the boat we’ll set you up with all equipment, including wetsuit, mask and fins.
- Dive sites take around an hour to reach from Santa Catalina, depending on which one of the 50 spots we go of course.
- Dives last 60 minutes, air consumption and bottom time allowing.
- Surface intervals are spent relaxing on sandy white beaches of remote, uninhabited islands.
- Cold lunch, seasonal fruit, snacks and water are all included.
Costs exclude Coiba National Park entrance:
$5.00 for Panama residents
$20.00 for foreigners

SCUBA WITH SHARKS - DIVE NORTHERN CONTRERAS ISLANDS
Coiba and the surrounding waters host more than 30 species of sharks – including Hammerheads, Bull Sharks and Whale Sharks at certain times of the year.
We see reef sharks the whole year an almost every dive, we also see bull sharks on many dives on our normal day trips.
Whale sharks can be seen with luck around Full Moon on normal day trips.
But the ultimate thrill is diving with hammerheads, usually in smaller schools, around some dive sites at the northern Contreras Islands, especially between April and June / July.
Around these dive sites it is not unusual to get close to bull sharks and black tips all around the year.
It is possible to dive these spots on day trips (it is a 1:40 to 2 hours trip from Santa Catalina. You have to be a certified diver, with Advanced Certification or 30+ dives (with a proof of a deep dive) and you should be Nitrox certified, as we do most of these trips as Nitrox trips to get the most out of it.
You might consider to go on one of our Multi-Day trips in this season, as the time to go to these sites is only 30 to 40 minutes from the hostel we stay.

SANTA CATALINA LOCAL DIVES
$105.00 per person
Includes two dives.

- Trip duration: Approximately 5 hours (8:00 am – 1:00pm)
- Before getting on the boat we’ll set you up with all equipment, including wetsuit, mask and fins.
- Dive sites take around 20 – 40 minutes to reach by boat from Santa Catalina.
- Dives last 60 minutes, air consumption and bottom time allowing.
- Snacks and water are provided
PACIFIC & CARRIBEAN SCUBA DIVING PACKAGE
With our Ocean 2 Ocean package, you can dive two coasts in one trip – the colourful carribean and fishy pacific.
Ocean 2 Ocean is a unique dive package that takes you from Bocas del Toro in the Caribbean Sea, over to Coiba National Park in the Pacific Ocean on the same diving vacation.
