What you will do:
- Equipment setup and orientation with experienced instructors
- Scenic boat transfer (about one hour) to dive sites
- Shallow water skills practice on a beach with your PADI instructor
- Two dives: one supervised introduction, one 40–45 minute supervised recreational dive
- Maximum depth: 12 meters (40 feet)

Ready to get certified? PADI Open Water is the world’s most popular scuba diving certification. After completing this dive course, you can dive anywhere in the world.
Course Structure:
Part 1 — Knowledge Development Learn the principles, concepts, and safety knowledge needed for diving. E-learning available ($70 additional) — complete theory at home, saving a full day of holiday time.
Part 2 — Confined Water Dives Practice essential scuba diving techniques in safe, pool-like conditions. Your instructor guides you step-by-step through everything you need to know.
Part 3 — Open Water Dives Complete four open water dives in Coiba National Park. Apply and demonstrate everything you have learned, with a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
